AFRICAN VIOLETS    A - C

These plants have been carefully selected from among the hundreds of new introductions in the past few years.  They will provide larger and more interesting colour combinations than found in any mass-produced plants usually found on the market. Included are the new Yellows, the latest break-through in African Violets - but a word of caution - they are not solid Yellow but various other colours, mostly White, with a center splash of pure Yellow or Yellow stripes and shadings. The Yellow colour will be plainly seen but the amount will vary depending on growing conditions.
 

STANDARDS ---

ACA'S CORAL LAGOON - Ruffled stars of semi-double Coral. Dark Green scalloped foliage.

ACA'S RED EMBER - Semi-double Red Pansy blooms over Green and White variegated foliage.

ALAMO GOLD - Ruffled double blooms of White and Yellow. Wavy variegated foliage. A very pretty, compact growing plant

ALAMO STRANGER (Pittman) - The combination of large double blooms in unusual shades of creamy pink, green and bronze, amassed above showy dark green foliage won this beauty \'93Best New Introduction\'94 at the 1994 Dixie Convention. A strikingly different standard.

ANTONIA - Double fantasy blooms with a Green edge over plain Green foliage.

APACHE ARROWPOINT- Large, double Lavender flowers with darker Lavender edges. Green and Bronze, crow-variegated foliage.

APACHE CHARMER - Big clusters of semi-double Pansy shaped flowers on foliage that is accented in Pink and White on waved Black-Green.

APACHE SUNBURST - Large pansies with upper petals in Burgundy and lower in Pink. Dark Green leaves edged with White and Pink ruffles.

APPLAUSE - Semi double Lavender blooms shading to purple edge, over plain Green foliage.

        ARAPAHOE - Semi double stars of brilliant "TOMAHAWK" Red, pointed bright                  Green leaves. Vigorous grower.

ARCTURUS - Glistening White edged semi double blooms of vibrant deep Red. Vigorous, well shaped growth habit. Tailored foliage.

AVALANCHE - White semi double stars tipped in Peach. Blackish Green leaves, edged in Pink variegation. A striking plant.
 

BEST FRIENDS - White edged semi double Two-toned Rose Pink, combined with deeper Rose feathering on petal edges. Show quality foliage.

BIG DADDY - Extremely large semi double blooms of bright Purple, often up to 3". Well shaped foliage has a Red reverse.

BIG DREAMER - Single to semi-double Purple pansy. Variegated Pink and Green Foliage. Large.

BLACK ACE - A rich, velvety Burgundy with clear White edging, a very different colour. Medium Green tailored foliage

BLACKBERRY HALO - Frilled semi-double to double blooms in dark Blackberry float over a halo of Deep Green leaves edged in Pink.

BLUE DRAGONS - Semi-double to double stars of pale Blue with dark eye and Red band, variable Green edge. Dark Green foliage.

BLUE SILHOUETTE - Single blooms in Blue with Red edge. Dark Green foliage.

     BLUSHING IVORY - Single Ivory stars blushed with wide bands of Pink-Orchid glitter. Heavy blooming over dark Green foliage.

BUCKEYE CHERRY FRECKLES - Semi-double pansy Pink blooms with Red fantasy. Variegated foliage in Green, White and Cream.

BUCKEYE COLOSSAL - Semi-double stars in Peach Pink with Red sparkle edge. Variegated foliage in Green, White and Pink.

CARALIL CHEYENE   - Beautiful huge, up to 3", single blooms in medium blue with fluted edges. Large growing dark green, cream and pink variegated foliage.

CARALIL SPIRITDANCER  - Heavenly white semi-double blooms with deeply fringed lavender purple edges. Medium green, shiny leaves with ruffled edges and white variegation.

CENTENNIAL THUNDER - A release by Tinari, one of the most experienced hybridizers. Large White blooms with tinted rings and edges.

CHAMPAGNE HALO - Glittery 2 toned Pink double of both Pink and Cream. Outstanding variegated foliage in deep Green Pink and Cream.

CHANTILLY LACE - Large double flowers with thin Red edge. Attractive Medium Green foliage, variegated in White and Green.

CHARTEUSE WONDER - Semi double to double White blooms are graces with lacy Chartreuse edgings and brushed with light Pink. Wavy light foliage.

CHERRIES N' CREAM  - Bright white edges garnish the single and semi-double stars of dynamic cherry red as they present themselves in resplendent rosettes atop a large growing circlet of quilted, dark green leaves that are backed with red mouthwatering blooms!

CHIFFON PRINCE  - Large semi-double blooms in light Lavender tipped in Royal Purple,. Dark olive foliage with tan variegation.

CRESTED WAVE - Large blooms of pure White semi-double held high above the pant, each banded in Royal Blue. Scalloped Show foliage.
